Räikkönen, From Third to First

McLaren's two drivers fought each other while an espionage case engulfed the team, and Kimi Räikkönen came from third at the final race to win by a point.

The 2007 grid looked different before a wheel turned. Michael Schumacher had retired and Kimi Räikkönen had his seat at Ferrari, while Fernando Alonso, the double champion, had moved to McLaren to partner a debutant called Lewis Hamilton. Bridgestone was now the only tire supplier, and over seventeen rounds the year became a contest between two teams and four drivers.
