Pedro Diniz raced in Formula One from 1995 to 2000 for Forti, Ligier, Arrows and Sauber, with a best finish of fifth.

Born in São Paulo, Pedro Diniz started karting at 18 and moved through Brazilian Formula Ford and British Formula 3 before making his Formula One debut with Forti at the 1995 Brazilian Grand Prix, his home race.

He switched to Ligier in 1996 and scored his first points with sixth place in Spain, then spent two seasons with Arrows. His best results came there: fifth at the 1997 Luxembourg Grand Prix and again at the 1998 Belgian Grand Prix. Two years with Sauber followed, and his last race was the 2000 Malaysian Grand Prix, after 98 starts. He then bought a share in the Prost team, ran a Formula Renault championship in Brazil and moved into business, including organic farming.
