Toyota Podiums for a GP2 Champion

Timo Glock raced in Formula One between 2004 and 2012, scoring three podiums with Toyota before seasons with Virgin and Marussia.

Born in Lindenfels, Timo Glock won the Formula BMW ADAC title in 2001 and was test driver at Jordan when the team handed him his Formula One debut at the 2004 Canadian Grand Prix, where he finished seventh. He drove three more races that year and then left Formula One.

He returned as GP2 champion in 2007 and joined Toyota for 2008, finishing second at the Hungarian Grand Prix. In 2009 he added third in Malaysia and second in Singapore. Three seasons with Virgin and Marussia followed, and his last race was the 2012 Brazilian Grand Prix, after 91 starts and three podiums. He then became a BMW factory driver in the Deutsche Tourenwagen Masters.
