Mark Webber's Red Bull victories

Mark Webber scored points on debut for Minardi, won nine Grands Prix with Red Bull, and later became a world endurance champion with Porsche.

Mark Webber was born in Queanbeyan, New South Wales, on 27 August 1976. After karting he raced Formula Ford in Australia and Formula 3 in Britain, finished runner up in the 1998 FIA GT Championship with the AMG Mercedes team, and placed second in the 2001 International Formula 3000 series.

Minardi gave him his Formula 1 debut at the 2002 Australian Grand Prix, his home race, and he finished fifth. Two seasons at Jaguar followed, then Williams in 2005 and 2006, where he took his first podium at Monaco. He joined Red Bull in 2007 and stayed for the rest of his Formula 1 career.

His first win came at the 2009 German Grand Prix at the Nürburgring, in his eighth season, and he won again in Brazil at the end of that year. The 2010 season was his best: victories in Spain, Monaco, Britain and Hungary put him at the top of the standings at several points. He added a win in Brazil in 2011, then won at Monaco and Silverstone in 2012, and he finished third in the standings in 2010, 2011 and 2013.

Webber left Formula 1 after the 2013 season with 215 starts, 9 wins, 13 pole positions, 19 fastest laps and 42 podiums. He moved to sports cars with Porsche, shared a 919 Hybrid with Timo Bernhard and Brendon Hartley, and won the 2015 World Endurance Championship before retiring from racing in 2016. He has since worked as a television pundit and driver manager.
