Christian Fittipaldi raced in Formula One from 1992 to 1994 for Minardi and Footwork, finishing fourth three times.

Born in São Paulo, Christian Fittipaldi was a highly rated young driver when Minardi gave him his Formula One debut at the 1992 South African Grand Prix. He scored his first point with sixth at that year's Japanese Grand Prix.

In 1993 he finished fourth in South Africa and fifth at Monaco, and a move to Footwork in 1994 brought fourth places at the Pacific and German Grands Prix. His Formula One career ended at the 1994 Australian Grand Prix with 40 starts from 43 entries. He then turned to American racing, finishing second at the 1995 Indianapolis 500 and winning twice in CART, and later won the 24 Hours of Daytona three times and two IMSA SportsCar titles.
