Luxembourg engineer who was team principal of Aston Martin from 2022 to 2024

Mike Krack began at BMW as a test engineer in 1998 and joined Sauber in 2001 as a data analysis engineer. He became Felipe Massa's race engineer in 2003 and then chief engineer when the team became BMW Sauber, and he worked with Robert Kubica and a young Sebastian Vettel in practice sessions.

After spells in the DTM with BMW and at Porsche, he returned to BMW to oversee its Formula E, IMSA and GT programs. On the 14th of January 2022 Aston Martin named him team principal, succeeding Otmar Szafnauer, and in 2023 the team rose to fifth in the constructors' championship as Fernando Alonso collected eight podiums. In January 2025 he became chief trackside officer, and he stepped in as acting team principal for the last two races of 2025. Luxembourg rarely sends people to the pit wall; when it does, they stay.
