Ricardo Zonta raced in Formula One for BAR, Jordan and Toyota between 1999 and 2005, scoring points three times in 2000.

Born in Curitiba, Ricardo Zonta won the Brazilian and South American Formula Three titles in 1995, tested for McLaren and won the FIA GT Championship in 1998. BAR signed him for its first season, and he made his Formula One debut at the 1999 Australian Grand Prix.

In 2000 he finished sixth three times, in Australia, Italy and the United States. He then became a test driver, stepping in for Jordan at two races in 2001 and racing for Toyota in 2004. His last entry was the 2005 United States Grand Prix, where he did not start, leaving him with 36 starts from 38 entries. He went on to race in the Brazilian Stock Car series.
