Formula 2 Champion at Haas

Mick Schumacher raced two seasons for Haas in 2021 and 2022 after winning the FIA Formula 3 and Formula 2 championships.

Born in Vufflens le Château in Switzerland and racing for Germany, Mick Schumacher won the FIA European Formula 3 championship with Prema and then the 2020 Formula 2 title. As a Ferrari academy driver he joined Haas for 2021, making his debut at the Bahrain Grand Prix, though the team scored no points that year.

In 2022 he scored his first points with eighth at the British Grand Prix and followed it with sixth in Austria, his best result. Haas released him at the end of that season, after 43 starts. He spent time as a reserve driver for Mercedes and McLaren, raced in the World Endurance Championship with Alpine and moved to IndyCar in 2026.
