Toro Rosso Points, Endurance Titles

Sébastien Buemi raced for Toro Rosso from 2009 to 2011, then became a Formula E champion and four time Le Mans winner.

Born in Aigle, Sébastien Buemi joined Toro Rosso for 2009 and made his Formula One debut at the Australian Grand Prix, scoring points with seventh place in his very first race. He finished seventh again in Brazil that year, his best result.

He stayed with the team for three seasons, collecting further points finishes, including eighth in Hungary in 2011 after starting twenty third. His last race was the 2011 Brazilian Grand Prix, after 55 starts. He went on to great success elsewhere, winning the 2015 to 2016 Formula E championship with Renault and four World Endurance titles and four victories at the 24 Hours of Le Mans with Toyota.
