Three Seasons with Williams

Nicholas Latifi drove for Williams from 2020 to 2022 after finishing runner up in Formula 2, scoring points in three races.

A Canadian driver who spent four full seasons in GP2 and Formula 2, Nicholas Latifi finished runner up to Nyck de Vries in the 2019 Formula 2 championship. He had already worked as a test driver for Renault and a reserve for Force India before Williams signed him for 2020.

He made his debut at the 2020 Austrian Grand Prix, finishing eleventh, and went without points that year. In 2021 he scored with seventh place at the Hungarian Grand Prix, his best result, and added points in Belgium. His final season brought ninth at the rain affected Japanese Grand Prix, and his Formula One career ended at the 2022 Abu Dhabi Grand Prix after 61 starts, all with Williams.
