Felice Bonetto raced in the World Championship from 1950 to 1953 and shared two podium finishes, at Monza in 1951 and Zandvoort in 1953.

Born in Manerbio, Felice Bonetto raced motorcycles before switching to cars in 1931, and he was already in his late forties when he made his World Championship debut at the 1950 Swiss Grand Prix, finishing fifth in a Maserati.

Driving for Alfa Romeo in 1951, he shared the car that finished third at the Italian Grand Prix, and with Maserati in 1953 he shared third at the Dutch Grand Prix. He also won the Targa Florio for Lancia in 1952. His last championship race was the 1953 Italian Grand Prix, his 16th start, and later that year he was killed while leading the Carrera Panamericana.
